** Quick Update before I leave for Fashion Week

Part of being a beauty blogger is having everyone and their mothers asking you to do their nails... Well I recently had a friend over and we decided she needed a mani, she is a new mom and doesnt have time to pamper herself like some of us doooo. Anyway, shes such a happy person so I wanted to do something that reflected that, I think it turned out better than we expected. But I mean, I should have expected that :p

I just painted her nails in a rainbow and then used my opi shatter polish over top.... is pretty much ADORBSSSS

Goodbye - Miley Cyrus

So i got a new shirt, its purple, with peacock feathers one it. YESSSS!!!!! anyways, i had to find a way to sort of dress it up for work. i decided to do a smokey eye (nothing too over the top) to go with the mani i gave my self yesterday.... all i did was apply an eye shadow primer - and covered my lid in a gray shadow, not metallic, which i prefer to use when doing a "night time" smokey eye. anyway, i then just blended in a matte black shadow from the outter edge of my lash... finished with urban decay liner, and maybeline falsies mascara... and VOILA!

ahhh, so ive been toying with the whole "matte/shiny" combo manicure idea for a while, i finally did it. i left some around the edges so its kind of messy.... and this is just a rough attempt. i think it could be amazzzeee...

Here We Go Again - Demi Lovato

Hey there! Sorry I haven't been updating regularly. School is getting crazy busy right now! I'll try harder.

My recent obsession is hot pink. I found some gorgeous pink nail polish, which I mentioned in a previous post. This week, I left off the glitter. I pair it with my favorite hot pink lipstick and I look like I'm straight out of Demi Lovato's video for "Here We Go Again."

If It Means Alot To U- A Day To Remember

Sooooo, I tried sponging this weekend for the first time. I like it! I can't wait to try more color combinations!

All you need is a cosmetic sponge and 2 or 3 shades of nail polish.

First I painted my entire nail one solid color, and put a few drops of polish onto my palete (which is just and index card :p) and then dabbed my sponge in the 2nd color and then sponged it onto the tip of my nail and continued halfway down.

Like it or Leave it??

Infatuation - Jonas Brothers

This song pretty much sums up my feelings with this eye shadow palette. I ordered this today and I pretty much CAN'T wait for it to get here. Its Crown Brush and was only 20 bucks! I read tons of reviews on Crown Brush before actually purchasing this... all positive. If its as good as I hope I will be spending LOTS more on new brushes!!!

Crazy - Britney Spears

So this week I picked up a few new polishes, this lilac is one of them. I have been so so busy with getting everything together for my trip I couldn't think of anything for my nails. This is what happens when u don't have time for perfection. None the less I've had compliments on them. (Mainly the dotted one)
