Hey guys! So I just have a quick update for you all. This summer I went on a weekend trip to see my two favorite bands in concert... TOGETHER... in Washington DC.  It was seriously everything that dreams are made of. we visited several of the monuments and finished the day with seeing Hanson AND parachute in concert. My mani is below along with a snapshot from the WW2 memorial. We vlogged all of our shenanigans over on our channel. Check it out "here"

Inward Tide - Green River Ordinance

Well, I do believe I have set a record for the longest amount of time ive gone between posts. SORRY! Ive been busy living the rock star life style. Haha literally so many concerts.

Anyway, this mani is from a trip I took to Iowa to see train, Hanson, Adam Lambert, Matt Kearney, neon trees, greenriver ordinance, and Ryan star. It was one of the best trips I have ever taken and wouldn't trade the experience for anything.

The polishes that I used were Zoya Pippa and 2 mislabeled Essie polishes that I picked up from Ross for 1/2price! I used a dotting tool to make 2 diagonal lines of dots. super cute, super easy.

Kiss Me When You Come Home - Hanson

My friend Fallon makes these amazing organic scented body scrubs and olive oil soaps. She had sent me a jar of her Favorite Sugar Cookie body scrub a few months ago to try out and it is amazing! So naturally I ordered a bunch of different scents to try.

I wanted to review each one of them separately because they are each so different & amazing on their own. Plus if I scrubbed my legs with all four on the same night I might not have any skin left on my legs!! I try to only exfoliate 2-3 times a week.

First up is Kiss Me When You Come Home body scrub & olive oil soap made with vanilla, pomegranate, & peppermint. This stuff smells soooooo good. The really great thing about all of her scrubs is that one scent doesn't over power the others. They are blended to perfection.



The scrub did settle some during shipping like most everything does so I just stuck my finger in the jar to mix it up. I tend to get really dry shins & hands during the winter/spring so after I was in the shower, I scooped up a hand full of the scrub & worked it all over my legs. Then just rinse. Since I had ordered the olive oil soap that's the same scent I washed my whole body in it after the scrub. It feels so good!! I promise this stuff is awesome!




After I dried off, my legs felt SO good that I didn't even put any lotion on. No need to. It felt like I already had it on but it didn't feel like it was something left behind or anything. The scent smelled so yummy I seriously wanted to lick my own legs! LOL

Another great thing is that these scrubs & soaps are made from ALL organic ingredients. You can order them through her shop on etsy.com, A Great Escape. They come in super cute packaging & with cute bows on the actual jars.

hey guys, its me again; Summer. Im sorry I havent posted in a couple of days.. Ive been sort of MIA. BUTTT!!!!! im back and with a pretty new mani! This is of course just a simple design (my specialty haha)

I used one of my pretty new polishes from my birthday prezzy.. its Finger Paints - Stunning Stilettos and a random neon orange from Sally Girl. I think it turned out cute - I LOVE neons with dull shades.. i know.. im weird.

AHHH in this picture you can see all of the imperfections, and i also should have used a top coat. but im sure you all can see that :p but for what its worth.. its still cute :)

OH! and a little update on my life, im almost moved. BLAH! But im actually happy right now, and i think that the decisions that have been made are truly for the best. OHHHH YEAAHH i also have like 4 or 5 concerts lined up for the next month. You should totalllly be JEALY!

A lot of people who are non fans.. dont understand why we would travel all over the place just to see -what they would say is- a washed up band from the 90's. well... a friend of ours has a blog.. and I think you should see why. 'Blue Sky' MY FIRST FRANKEN!!!

Hellllowwww my lovelies!!!!!!!!!! Y'all have a good weekend??

Soooo on my weekly shopping trip I decided to pick up a few cheap polishes and try my hand at making a franken... I reallllly love the way that it turned out.

I used half a bottle of sally hansen hard as nails in clear.. and 1/3 of a bottle of WnW glitter - i dont remember the name :/ and i used WnW in french white creme and a no name navy 'bon bon' polish.

I was going for a Glitter in the Air sort of polish - like deborah lippmanns.. i dont think i hit the nail on the head.. but i SERIOUSLY love the way it turned out.

I decided to name this bottle 'Blue Sky' because of the Hanson Song.... I think since they are my favveee band that its cute to name all of my frankens after one of their songs.. maybe its lame.. but it makes me happy!!!!!

Loooooky! Its Toms flag nails!!!

I got my first pair of toms back in 2007. They make my feet smell and fall apart easily, but who can't resist helping kids in africa? They're becoming more popular, I mean they're on basically every corner of every college campus ever. So I thought it would be fun to do this design!

I chose this song because of the partnership hanson had with toms, and it reminds me of all the walks we did in support of helping the people in africa.

Remember December - Demi Lovato

AHHHH!!!! sooo its been a busy weekend. first it was HANSON day, then i had to find birthday gifts for people and host a group of 14 year olds (easier said then done), and THEN it was mothers day. my poor nails definitely suffered from the lonnnnng weekend.

I had forgotten to take a picture when the mani was fresh but this is a few days afterward.. i really like the red nails with zebra accent nail - simple and cute.
