Moments - One Direction
Hey guys! Its me, Summer.
I have for you.... a cupcake mani! Haha okay, okay its really just a glitter sandwhich... but it looks like cupcake frosting... or maybe I'm crazy.
I saw something with this color combo on a blog.... months ago.. and I loved it.. so.. I recreated! (If this was your mani first.. msg me and ill link u)
The thing I love about glitter sandwhiches is that its so understated.. yet fun. Who doesn't love a chunky, multi colored glitter? Normally if you were to wear a nude polish, with a chunky glitter, it would harshly contrast and look a little mis matched.. but when you layer another coat of the sheer polish over top of the glitter.. it mutes the harshness. Love it!

Boston - Augustana

Hey everyone! I'm adoring my new palette. I had a bit of time yesterday to try out some new colors before I had to leave the house. I snapped some quick pictures and I'm here to show you how it turned out!
The other night I saw a gorgeous sunset with unique colors. It was the inspiration behind this look. (So cliche, I know. It really was beautiful, though.)

Dragon - Tori Amos
Hey guys! Summer, here.
We recently were contacted about working with a company to post about the year of the dragon, which is part of the chinese astrological calendar. I didn't really know much about it so I decided to check it out and see what it was all about and turns out...it's my sign!
I started reading up about it and found out that it's going to be a good year for me! It determined (by the year I was born) that I am an earth dragon and because this is the year of the black water dragon - I will be receiving some money this year! Haha! I'm not going to question it...just embrace it!
Anyway, Alexis and I decided to do a joint post because the colors were really beautiful.
*I saw on their Facebook page that they have a few other sets, much like this one. Including one with a sapphire polish!! (Our birthstone. Yes, both of ours!) Also a set with a TO-DIE-FOR glitter and black patent leather-esque crackle.
Are you convinced that you need this in your life yet? Good.
The set I received even included the cutest little nail file. Love.

A Team - Ed Sheeran
Hey guys!
I really cannot believe it is almost Feb. Does that even seem real? I feel like 2 days ago it was thanksgiving. Anyway... I'm really excited for the things that are coming up next month. Its our one year blog anniversary, so its gonna be a special month. I'm taking the whole month to refocus my life and purge un needed things/people. I think I just need change. Which probably stems from the fact that I'm finally over my breakup. Does anyone else do that? I feel like I have to rid myself of any negative energy! Haha
Which reminds me; I completely redid my bathroom. Its ADORBS, y'all. Its super girly and shabby chic, since my old bathroom was so dark, I went with alllllll light colors. Love it.
Welllll, today was mani Monday in the PAA group, and the theme was crackle. I alternated black and silver base colors and then did opposite alternating shatter polishes on top. I like it, and evidently so did a lot of other people. I got a lot of compliments. Yayyy haha

Hey guys! Since Alexis did a post on what she got for christmas, I figured I would too!
I got a lot of random Essie polishes, the OPI glitters from the muppets collection, lots of Orlys.. including most of the birds of a feather collection, and I got NAKED and VEGAN palettes for christmas! I love urban decay! My friend jessica got me the vegan palette. I'm in lovvveeee!

Brand New Day - Joshua Radin
Hey there!
Last weekend, for new year's eve, I went to Knoxville and met up with Summer! Reunited at last :)
We had a really fun time that night and it was great getting ready together and hanging out. Summer was so sweet and gave me a nail polish gift set! So, I thought I would take some quick pictures. (I'm still in love with my camera and I'm basically taking pictures of every thing in my kit. Haha.)
