Not Over You - Gavin Degraw

Hey guys! I just have a quick post for the weekend! I've sort of been a homebody these last few days... But everyone needs weekends like that, right?

Anyway... First of all.... I went to Ross and got a couple of cute things.. and shopped around a few other places... And guess what I found?! COLOR CLUB!!!! I found the foiled collection and snatched it up as soon as I saw it. They also had the boho collection which I'm sure I will buy next time I'm in.... But I was restraining myself haha!

When I got home I was SO in love with this polish that I immediately took my current mani off and started playing with the colors. I did a sort of skittles mani and also used 'hot like lava' on my toes! I haven't used anything but opi on my toesies in about a year... But I couldn't resist! I'm IN LOVE!!!

I have never swatched polish just for blogging purposes because I think that becomes redundant and I like nail art... But I honestly considered it with this collection!! I could not put the bottles down!

Well, its me again; Summer. Remember the polishes I showed you from North Carolina? Well I totally had to use them.. All of them... So I decided to do a gradient! Haha I really like the colors together... Subtle and they blended sooo well together.

Now, I couldn't leave them just like they were.. So I decided to do swirly designs lol such a technical term eh? They're so imperfect but I think that's why I like them. And hey, my grandma even liked em! Hahah and she's not a fan of much of my crazy designs.

Oh! And I've gotten a bunch of friends that have tried some of the manicures from our blog and they've turned out so well.. I am thinking of doing a post of just manis that were inspired by groupie glam! If you have any, feel free to send the pics to groupieglamblog@gmail.com and they can be included!

I'm backkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!! Miss me? Of course you did!

I went to NC this weekend.. Specifically Winston Salem. I had originally planned on buying A LOT more polish than I did but I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for... Nothing really spoke to me, ya know? HOWEVER - I did find a rite aid (we don't have those 'round here) and found a few of the OPI pirates Dupes from sinful colors!!!! I got Seaweed, Open Seas, and Adventure Island. I was so excited!

We went to the mall and I got a few other things.. They were. Having GREAT sales. Everything in the first picture was less than 25 bucks!!! I'm such a bargain shopper haha

Its almost concert time!!! AHH I'm so excited! Fall is my favorite time for concerts... Especially hanson concerts! I get to see all my friends that I only get to see at their concerts. I'm super excited about the first concert I'm going to this tour because its in nashvile... Which is where my faveeee nail polish store is haha!

Anyway, remember the color club set I bought? Poptastic? Yeah.. I wanted to use it.. But I wanted to use all the colors lol.. So I painted each of my nails one of the colors with the intention of taking them off.. But I couldn't. I just decided to put some OPI shatter on top and wear it for a few days lol! I like it.... And a man with a beard told me that he liked them too! My life is now complete haha

Oh! And I'm going on a trip this weekend! With my bfffff to NC! Oh yes I'm excited!

Save Me - Hanson

Hi guys! Wellll... Its me... With the swatches I promised! This is going to be the shortest of the shortest posts tonight! I need sleep!!!!

I'm sure most of you all have seen chuck and blair by essence swatched by now but OH EM GEE is chuck the most beautifullest blue EV? Yes!!! I love him.. And I cannot wait to wear this for the season premiere of Gossip Girl......

Blair on the other hand.... Well... While she is the most beautiful glitter ever.... Espesh in the sun.... She is also the most difficult glitter EVER to remove. I soaked... And soaked... And scrubbed... And soaked... Till my finger nails were sore! Ugh! But I still love her :)

Anyhoo I topped this mani with a matte top coat and I liked it better. My cousin says 'chuck' looks like blue jeans when its mattified! Haha oh the insight of a 5 year old! That's allll guys!

If You're A Bird - The Scene Aesthetic

HelllooO guys! I'm sad to report that I have a NAIL FAIL for you guys today... Buttt I make up for it with NAIL MAIL!!!!

So, when walgreens had their fast dry WnW on sale for .99c I made a special trip and got a few pretties. First was Sagreena The Teenage witch and Second was Buffy the Violet Slayer... Well as soon as I had seen these together I KNEW I had to do a mardi gras mani - I was actually so excited I may or may not have even told the cashier my plan LOL. Previously I had received the Gold and the Beautiful for my birthday... So I decided to use these 3. Not such a good idea. It didn't turn out at alllll like I planned. The only half way ok one was my thumb :/

Onto the nail mail. I had gotten one of my friends (stefi) to get a few of my lemings from germany and had her send them my way. Y'all know I LOVE me some gossip girl, so I decided I needed the essence nail art twins in Chuck and Blair! I also got a magnetic polish for myself and edward and bella for a friend. YAY!!!! Swatches to come! Oh AND I stopped by ross and they had poptastic!!!!! Yall KNOW this has been my lemming for sometime! I was excited to buy the whole set!

Heartless - A Day To Remember

BIRTHDAAYYY MANI #2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey guys, its me again; Summer. Im sorry I havent posted in a couple of days.. Ive been sort of MIA. BUTTT!!!!! im back and with a pretty new mani! This is of course just a simple design (my specialty haha)

I used one of my pretty new polishes from my birthday prezzy.. its Finger Paints - Stunning Stilettos and a random neon orange from Sally Girl. I think it turned out cute - I LOVE neons with dull shades.. i know.. im weird.

AHHH in this picture you can see all of the imperfections, and i also should have used a top coat. but im sure you all can see that :p but for what its worth.. its still cute :)

OH! and a little update on my life, im almost moved. BLAH! But im actually happy right now, and i think that the decisions that have been made are truly for the best. OHHHH YEAAHH i also have like 4 or 5 concerts lined up for the next month. You should totalllly be JEALY!

A lot of people who are non fans.. dont understand why we would travel all over the place just to see -what they would say is- a washed up band from the 90's. well... a friend of ours has a blog.. and I think you should see why. Moves Like Jagger - Maroon 5

BIRTHDAY WEEK HAS BEGUN!! Im not sure if you all know, but Alexis and I are both virgos, and our birthdays are only a week apart!!! haha hers was this past week.. and mine is on the 9th (friday) but I started the celebration this weekend... The first thing that I did was go out to eat with friends.. it was sooo yummy. 

Anyway, on to the reason you are here! BEAUTY!!! haha, I kept it really simple by just doing a skittles mani.. I knew that I would be taking it off later to do another birthday manicure anyway.. 

 

 I used China Glaze in For Audrey and Secret Periwinkle, OPI in Show it and Glow it (glitter), Sinful Colors in Nirvana, and WnW in Light Pink Creme...

 I also received my first birthday present of the week! Desiree of GorgeousInWonderland and it was PURRRFECT. She gave me like 10 bottles of polish.. in all my favorite colors (mainly grey.. she knows me so well) and some nail essentials.. ALSO! the cutest little fat owls you have ever seen... anyone that knows me.. knows that I am obsessssssed with owls.. so she picked out awesome stuff!

 These were my EOTD - I was going to be wearing a hunter green color so I wanted to bring that out with my eyeshadow.. I used my coastal scents 88 color palate and urban decay liquid liner.. and almay one coat dial up mascara.. I LOVE having big lashes! haha

 Even if my lashes look like tarantulas from all the mascara that i was using.. well... I dont care.. because my motto is the bigger the better! hahah should I wear this more often??
